Announcement for anyone interested in contributing to the Lakeshore Minor Baseball Association (LMBA). The call for "Members in good standing" to join the LMBA Board provides an excellent opportunity to help shape youth baseball in the community.
Summary of the important details:
Board Membership: The LMBA is actively seeking members to join its board. Duties include attending monthly meetings (held every 3rd Monday) and contributing to enhancing the overall baseball experience for the players.
AGM Information: The Annual General Membership Meeting (AGM) will take place on Sunday, October 6th, from 1–4 pm at the Atlas Tube Recreation Centre (Large Board Room). All members are encouraged to attend to discuss issues, vote on board positions, and propose constitutional and bylaw changes.
Nominations: If you're unable to attend the AGM but want to run for a board position, nominations and "Will stand if nominated" letters must be submitted to the President seven (7) days prior to the meeting.
